Location is phenomenal (literally steps away from Upham Beach and walkable to almost everything), and the rental manager (Teresa) was great, but beyond that, I can't say anything good about this particular unit, nor would I stay here again barring some significant improvements being made. Our first impression upon walking up the stairs and into the common entryway is that it's obviously an older property and that the carpet was absolutely filthy. Second impression was the front door lock was barely functional and required so much finagling to get it locked that we ended up not using it the rest of the trip and used the back door instead. Once inside, the layout is nice, but the unit is clearly in need of some major maintenance/renovations and a good, deep cleaning. For example, the windows in the master bedroom are covered only by sheer curtains (no blinds), meaning anyone standing outside on the landing can see right inside. The closet doors are difficult to open, and they're nasty inside with rusted shelving and pipes. There's no way we'd hang our clothes in there. Floors are filthy and clearly haven't been scrubbed in ages—our toddler's feet were BLACK after running around barefoot for just a few minutes. We wore sandals the rest of the time we were there, and heaven forbid you drop something under the furniture. Kitchen counter is covered by pieces of loose, cracked plexiglass. In the smaller bedroom, the ceiling light didn't work—unclear if it was broken or if the bulb just needed to be replaced. Bathroom looks nice, but again, the shelves and floor were dirty, and the tub itself is in really rough shape—the drain stopper was detached, and it was old and rusty. Garbage disposal was barely functional, and the dishwasher was gross and smelly with standing water inside, and the detergent pod latch is broken. The unit had no dish detergent or sponge and only one roll of paper towel, so we ended up going and buying these things ourselves, along with a bottle of all-purpose cleaner and some toilet paper to replace the cheap, see-through stuff that was supplied. The cover was broken off the step-open garbage can in the kitchen, and the underside of it was it dirty and gross. Sense a theme here? They do supply one beach chair, a kids' kickboard, and an old umbrella, but given renters' obvious reasons for choosing this property, it would be great if more would be provided (multiple chairs, a wagon, etc.). It would also be nice if beach towels would be provided for free versus having to rent them from the office. Lastly, the windows are such that you hear everything from outside, and being a second-floor unit in a 3-story building, there can be a lot of noise from footsteps upstairs. I understand there's not much that can be done about this, but something you'll definitely want to know if you're traveling with small children who go to sleep early. Overall, the location isn't nearly enough to overcome the unit's many flaws, and I'd recommend staying somewhere else for your visit to the St. Pete Beach area.

It was great! The woman in the office was a sweetheart. It's was a very quiet neighborhood. There's food places within walking distance, but there's also something called "free beach ride" which came in handy. AND the condos are only steps from the beach!

Excellent, excellent unit and great location to the beach, pool and many restaurants.

Honestly the best part about this complex was the location and pool. Slyce Pizza was great and we did use the Freebee ride app which was definitely a plus for the area. Thank you to Theresa for recommending those.

I loved this unit because it gave all 3 of us who stayed privacy with doors that enclosed bedrooms as well as the living room area from the bedroom area. I'm a light sleeper and was challenged when the people who stayed in the unit above us arrived and I was awakened by them at night walking around. Overall though I would stay here again just on the top floor!
